2015 JEEP LIBERTY 2.4L - NO CRANK - BURNING SMELL - LOUD GROWLING SOUND WHEN RUNNING

Battery tested very low cold cranking amp. Engine will start with a jump box. After engine start, battery light is illuminated on the dash. Loud growling noise coming from under the hood. Alternator have metal shaving around the pulley. Can feel vibration on top of alternator. Everything points to a obvious bad alternator. Bearing from alternator have failed. Replaced alternator and let battery charge up. Never let anyone sell you battery without checking the alternator first.
